The Carroll Education Coalition's Mental Wellness Support Committee is dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of the Carroll County Public Schools (CCPS) community—including teachers, staff, students, and parents—during the ongoing budget crisis. As licensed professionals living and working in Carroll County, we recognize the intense strain that this process has brought to our communities. Through collaboration, education, and outreach, we strive to bridge gaps and provide support as we navigate this process together.

Anchor Counseling Centers
Provides mental health services to children, adolescents and adults with offices in Sykesville, Eldersburg, Columbia, Stevenson and Frederick. Offers virtual therapy. Accepts BCBS, United Health Care, Johns Hopkins and Cigna insurance. Master’s Level Counseling Interns provide therapy at a reduced self-pay rate for those without insurance or with insurances not accepted. A few clinicians accept Aetna insurance.
